What's KnownAnd What the Resort Hasn't Announced
Ferris wheels usually come with a published spec sheet: height, number of cabins, capacity, ride duration, manufacturer. This wheel has none, and we show that with dashes, not guesses.

What the Sources Say
| What it is | A Ferris wheel with enclosed glass cabins; from the top you can see the sea and the resort buildings. It stands in Sea Breeze Luna Park, next to the circus tent and carousels. |
|---|---|
| Where | Azerbaijan, Baku, Nardaran, Sea Breeze resort — Luna Park, by the road to LANDAU school |
| Status | operating (listed as open in the resort's 2026 inventory). The opening was announced for August 2024. We didn't find a separate announcement on seabreeze.az of the wheel itself opening; in December 2024 footage and the April 2025 aerial photo, the wheel stands fully assembled in its spot. |
| Opening announcement | August 2024 Luna Park opening news (seabreeze.az, 26.05.2024; retold by 1news.az / 4kids.az, 29.05.2024): “in August a tall Ferris wheel will also open here” |

What is not in the sources
We counted the cabins from the official photo: there are at least 14 around the rim, evenly spaced. The bottom of the wheel is out of frame, so we don't give a total; it would be a made-up number.
For comparison: the Baku Ferris wheel on the Boulevard (Şeytan çarxı) is 60 m tall, with 30 cabins for 8 people each, built by the Dutch company Dutch Wheels and opened on March 10, 2014. It's a different attraction, 25 km from Sea Breeze. Source: Wikipedia, “Baku Ferris Wheel.”

questions
Everything in Brief
How tall is the wheel?
The resort hasn't announced it. News reports simply call the wheel “tall.” The “50 meters” figure circulates online with no source, so we don't give it.
How many cabins are there, and how many people fit?
Not officially announced. The official Sea Breeze photo shows at least 14 enclosed cabins around the rim, evenly spaced, but the bottom of the wheel is out of frame, so that's our count, not a stated figure.
When did the wheel open?
The opening was announced for August 2024, along with the launch of Luna Park. We didn't find a separate opening announcement; in December 2024 footage and the April 2025 aerial photo the wheel is already in place, and the resort's 2026 inventory lists it as operating.
How much does a ride cost?
The sources give no separate price for the wheel. The park's general rule is known: free entry, rides paid with 5-manat tokens. How many tokens one turn costs isn't stated anywhere. May 2024 data.
