sb-091 · a Luna Park ride
One LoopThe Ferris wheel at the Sea Breeze resort
Enclosed glass cabins above the Luna Park in Nardaran. The page reads as one loop: boarding, rising, the top with views of the sea and resort, descent and exit.
It's a ride inside Luna Park, not a separate venue. The guide to the park itself is Sea Breeze Luna Park.

What this place is
The Ferris wheel isn't a standalone venue. It's a Sea Breeze Luna Park ride: entry and ticket office are shared with the park, and the wheel has no hours, phone or website of its own. We checked this against the resort's venue inventory, the “Infrastructure” section of the Sea Breeze website, news of the park's opening, footage of the entrance with its ticket office and an aerial photo of the site.
That's why the page is built as one turn of a cabin: boarding at the bottom, rising, the top with views of the sea and resort, descent and exit. The scale under the header shows where you are.

Hours, entry and token price come from news of the Luna Park opening (26.05.2024) and its retellings; they haven't been separately confirmed for 2026. A dash means the sources have no figure, and we don't make one up.

Entry, Tickets, Tokens
The ticket office and entrance are easy to spot: a red-and-white pavilion with “Information” and “Tickets” windows and the wheel itself painted on the facade. Tokens are sold right there at the park entrance.
Entry to Luna Park is free; you pay only for rides. A token cost 5 manat; how many tokens a turn on the wheel takes is never stated in the sources.
Free entry
You pay only for rides, with tokens. May 2024 data.
Price per turn
The resort hasn't published a separate fare for the wheel. Ask at the park's ticket office.

What It's Like

The truss and supports are white; the cabins are enclosed and glazed, dark blue on top and light below. They hang outside the rim, as on modern “eye” wheels, rather than like the open gondolas of old parks.
In the official photo we counted at least 14 cabins around the rim, evenly spaced; the bottom of the wheel is out of frame. The resort hasn't announced the total number, their capacity or the wheel's height.

The View from the Top
The resort hasn't published a list of “what you see from the cabin.” But there's an aerial photo of exactly this spot, from April 2025, taken by the Azerbaijani President's Press Service, CC BY 4.0. It shows what lies below a cabin at the top.

The same photo shows an important detail: the wheel stands at the edge of the amusement area, on a separate plot by the residential buildings, while the entrance towers, carousels and circus tent are farther east. In spring 2025 the paving around the wheel hadn't been laid yet.

A Circle Around the Wheel

The wheel doesn't stand alone. Next to it are the blue-and-yellow Sea Breeze circus tent with 1250 seats, the Luna Park carousels and kids' play areas, and to the north, the resort's water park.
As the cabin comes down, all the neighbors pass beneath it at once: alleys, red-and-white pavilions, and the olives and palms planted around the park.
Sea Breeze circus
The 1250-seat tent with a 13 m ring stands right next to the wheel, between Luna Park and the water park. It opened on June 1, 2024; tickets are 10–40 AZN.
Sea Breeze water park
9900 m², opened June 29, 2024; entry 20 AZN and hours 9:00–19:00 are 2024 data.
Amusement park
Seven rides, including “Orbit,” “Pirate Ship,” “Crazy Dance” and bumper cars, plus kids' play areas.

And Then
You get off where you got on. After that, the park stays open late: until 2 a.m., per the opening news. In the evening the carousel lights come on and the place looks completely different from daytime.
The wheel has no separate evening schedule, and there's no confirmation that it's lit up itself: in our footage the wheel appears only in daylight.
